For the past two days, the Youth Center in Sarajevo was the center of entrepreneurship! The most anticipated entrepreneurial gathering “Welcome to the Future 2.0” was held on 22-23. November, and this is the second edition of Welcome to the Future, which was the first Scale Up pitch held in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2022.
“Welcome to the Future 2.0”, divided into two segments: the Business Arena and the Pitch Arena, was full of visitors, and during the Business Arena, visitors had the opportunity to listen to the most experienced people in the profession, such as prof. sr. Željko Šaina from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, Haris Mujanović, director of the marketing sector of Bingo and CEO Via Media, Eva Maria Naeher, program director from GIZ and many others who selflessly shared their knowledge, useful tips and know-how with the visitors.
Entrepreneurship is the future!
The Pitch Arena was opened by Vojin Mijatović, Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts – Deputy Prime Minister, and visitors were addressed by Edin Duraković and Damir Gazdić on behalf of the Tuzla Canton Government.
The very heart of the event were the presentations of 8 entrepreneurs of the IMPAKT incubator who showed their ideas for improving their business ventures in an innovative, fun and interesting way, and were helped in this by the event leader, Enis Bešlagić. These entrepreneurs are changing the face of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Zerina Čolaković from Zenica, Amina Vehabović from Gračanica, Mirsad Imširović from Srebrenik, Tijana Dabić from Brčko, Edis Hodžić from Banović, Edin Humić from Kalesija, Mirela and Alen Jusupović from Zavidović and Orhan Ibrahimagić from Tuzla.
The Commission decided that financial incentives will be given to: Mirsad Imširović (7,000.00 KM), Zerina Čolaković (5,000.00 KM) and Edin Humić (3,000.00 KM). The partners of the event also prepared gifts for the participants.
The Impakt investment foundation, which was the organizer of the event, is extremely dedicated to the goals of sustainable development in its work, and in this regard, special awards were given – SDG champions to all participants of “Welcome to the Future 2.0”.
